Sophia's new generation of products offer the highest efficiency in the smallest and lightest package. Our breakthrough efficiencies reduce overall system size and weight by allowing the use of much smaller and lighter power supplies and cooling systems.
 

Sophia's SSPAs now feature fully integrated Block Upconverters accepting L-band input in the same incredibly small box as the SSPA alone. This is a breakthrough in integration and size and weight reduction, replacing two boxes with one. Also, the fully integrated BUC/SSPA allow the BUC and SSPA to be co-designed to work seamlessly together, eliminating interface or co-ordination challenges. Also, this prevents dreaded "spec addition", where deviations from ideality like gain slope or group delay are accumulated through multiple cascaded units by adding all their specs.
